Camden Youth Offending Service (Camden Council)

(YOS, formerly known as Camden Youth Offending Team (YOT))

Contact duty worker; 020 7974 1261. Team of multi-agency professionals working with young people aged 10-17 who have committed an offence or are in danger of doing so. The service undertakes both preventative work (for those that have not yet entered the criminal justice system) and reduction work (reducing reoffending of those who have already entered the criminal justice system). In addition to social workers and young persons support workers, a number of specialist workers are based at the Youth Offending Service, including parenting workers, clinical psychologists, educational psychologists, an accommodation officer, Connexions personal assistants, a sexual health worker and a substance misuse worker. The service also has four resident police officers who deliver final warnings and reprimands.
