Regents Canal Conservation Area Advisory Committee

(Regents Canal CAAC)

Protects and enhances the environment of the canal from Primrose Hill to King's Cross. Reviews planning applications for buildings likely to have an impact on the canal and its surroundings. Makes comment to Camden Council. The CAAC is also involved in planning for the Hawley Wharf area near to Hampstead (Camden) Lock. It argues for a strong conservation agenda.
