- How can a child or young person start using the service?
The scheme is accessible via referral from Camden MOSAIC disabled children’s team in MOSAIC.
- How are decisions made about eligibility for your service?
Decisions about eligibility are made by the MOSAIC Short Breaks Panel.
- How do you communicate with service users and how are they involved in decision making/planning?
Parent/s and children are generally invited to visit and observe an overnight in action prior to their first overnight stay - this has been useful in gradually easing children into the service and developing trust. We welcome parental involvement in planning and evaluating the service as it develops.
