An inclusive pre-school for children aged two-five years with support for transition into school. Providing a broad range of play and learning opportunities, our highly experienced team promote children's learning, growth and independence through free-flow activities in a safe purpose built and self contained space with an outside play area. Activities are planned daily around the children's interests, needs and current events. They aim to ensure all children have access to activities covering all seven areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. We work closely with our parents and carers to ensure the very best outcomes for our children.
We have a variety of outdoor play equipment to encourage climbing, balancing and building, surrounded by grass or soft landing surfaces as well as a covered patio space where children can chalk, paint, or enjoy small world play. Children can ride on trikes, bikes and scooters to practice their motor skills and coordination.
We absolutely love sensory play and have sand and water trays, and access to mud play equipment so that we can be busy exploring.
Our dedicated space is packed full of educational toys, IT equipment and role play resources for your child to investigate and share, and an area for quieter activities such as sharing a book or nap time.
We get creative every day with activities such as painting, mark-making, collage, and play dough or gloop. This allows your child to really get into learning and exploring their imaginative side, try something new and develop their skills, and take part in lots of new and exciting opportunities.
We support children with their independence, to share their opinions and to make positive choices. We encourage them to take small but safe risks to develop their problem solving skills, and to develop their sense of self and achievement.
