The service is made up of three teams: Lettings, Tenancy Sustainment and Empty Homes. The Lettings Team procures private rented properties in and around London for those in housing need, working in conjunction with the Housing Options and Advice Service. The Tenancy Sustainment Team provide on-going support for private rented tenants and landlords. They are also dealing with welfare reform changes in the private rented sector. The team is also responsible for implementing the Council's Private Sector Strategy which includes bringing private sector empty properties back into use, Compulsory Purchase Orders and organising events for private landlords.
