Where is the service located and what areas does it cover?

18 Harben Parade, Finchley Road, London, NW3 6JP. Anyone between the age of 16-24 that have a connection to Camden.

Who does your service provide for?

For the 1:1 service, The Hive works with young people ages 16 to 24 who are a Camden resident OR are registered to a GP in Camden. There is a waiting list for 1:1 referrals which is subject to change.

Alternatively, the Social Hub is open to young people ages 16 to 24 with ANY connection to Camden (i.e Live, work, study, Camden services, GP, Family member.)  there is no waiting list. Young people are welcome to drop in and register with a staff member onsite. To receive a copy of the Social Hub timetable contact 020 3198 0520 or thehive@catch-22.org.uk.

How can a child or young person start using the service?

Young people can self-refer, or professionals can signpost young people for 1:1 support. To request a self-referral form or professional’s signposting form contact thehive@catch-22.org.uk. Once there is availability for a young person to start 1:1 work, their allocated 1:1 worker will be in contact to arrange an assessment.

Young people can access the Social Hub by dropping in from Monday to Friday and can join workshops and activities right after registering with a staff member. Contact us to see the activity timetable for further details.

How are decisions made about eligibility for your service?

Decisions are made via team discussion. Young people who meet the criteria are matched to a 1:1 worker.

How do you communicate with service users and how are they involved in decision making/planning?

Feedback from service users is always welcome as The Hive is a youth led service. The Hive hosts a monthly Youth Board from 4:30-6:30pm where service users and staff exchange ideas and shape service delivery (see timetable for the next Youth Board).
