Keats Community Library

(Formerly Heath Library)

A community-run library and literary centre, opened in April 2012 by a registered charity. A purpose built library with over 25,000 items. 

Run by volunteers for our community, we offer:

  • A friendly place to visit, study or just relax
  • Adult fiction and non-fiction lending and reference library;
  • Children's library with weekly activities such as rhyme-time sessions for under 5s;
  • DVD library to lend;
  • Public access computers;
  • Free wi-fi;
  • A3/4 printing, scanning  and photocopying,
  • Local newspapers and a range of periodicals;
  • Large study tables
  • Cultural and fun evenings with guest speakers; fundraising events
  • Tea and coffee at nominal prices.

Open to all and free to use; borrowing books requires a membership; some services such as printing have charges

When is it on
Library: Tue-Wed 10am-6pm, Thu-Fri 10am-7pm, Sat-Sun 12 noon-4pm. Children's area: Tue, Wed and Fri 10am-5pm, Sat 12 noon-4pm. Children can borrow books and DVDs during main library hours.

Cost(s)
£5 administration charge for initial issue of membership card. Fees charged for all overdue and lost items books, photocopying and printing from PCs.
