Count Me in Project Inclusion sessions are for Yong People with mild to moderate LD aged 13-19 years in partnership with young people and staff at Somers Town.

The 7 O’ Clock Club meets on Monday and Thursdays from 5.30pm – 8.30pm. These sessions are Inclusive in participation with young people and staff from Somers Town Youth Centre. The sessions take place on Mondays and Thursday evenings at Somers Town Youth Centre. 134 Chalton Street, London, NW1 1RX.

Borough wide services are located in several Camden and voluntary sector buildings

Who does your service provide for?

Disabled young people with mild to moderate LD aged 13 – 25.  Inclusive sessions in partnership within mainstream sessions at Somers Town Youth Centre.

How can a child or young person start using the service?

Referral through Count Me in Project, Social services and other agencies. Referrals not a guarantee of place. 

How are decisions made about eligibility for your service?

Internal process agreed with Camden IYSS.   

How do you communicate with service users and how are they involved in decision making/planning?

Through face to face work with young people in club sessions and projects. All service users are consulted on the programmes and the Reactive Forum is set up to directly feedback users views on Camden’s services.

What training have the staff supporting children and young people with SEND had/or will be they be getting?

Our Staff are specialist youth workers in the field of SEND and have worked with this user group for many years.
