Offers older (over 60) and disabled (of any age) private tenants, home owners, housing associations advice and support on: Adaptation and Improvements, Housing Repairs, including surveying support and benefit information. Advise clients on what funding is available.
We also offer handyperson services to over 65, have a chronic illness, have a disability or a sensory impairment, prone to falling or a high risk of falling, have a learnng disability, have a mental health condition or provide unpaid care to an another adult. The charge for this service is dependant on whether you are receipt of a means tested benefit.
The service is able to carry out small repairs that are the responsibility of the tenant/home owner.
