Needs assessment is carried out between key worker/carer and our Access Officer. Young person will be placed on the appropriate project accordingly.
Provision in Hackney. Areas covered – Camden, Islington, Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets.

Needs assessment is carried out between key worker/carer and our Access Officer. Young person will be placed on the appropriate project accordingly.
We hold consultation meetings with service users and carers. Half of our board of trustees have learning disabilities and are key consultants in company decisions.
As an accessible company we find a way to communicate to meet the needs of the individual. This may include verbal, Makaton, PECs, and physical actions.
Working with the individual and carers where appropriate, we create a participant profile, outlining key needs, communication preferences and aims for the project.
We only work in accessible spaces. All spaces have been assessed for the access requirements.
For service users who have visual or hearing impairments, we are able to work with support plans to factor in the correct personnel. We do not provide interpreters for free.
