Primrose Hill Community Library

(Formerly Chalk Farm Library)

Primrose Hill Community Library is run by the community for the community and is overseen by Primrose Hill Community Association. Activities/services in the library include book loans from adults' and childrens' sections, use of computers, wi-fi, DVDs, newspapers, book group, events for children and adults, talks. The Association is still seeking donations to help with keeping the library open, large or small. Contributions very welcome and donations can be made via the website listed. If you are interested in volunteering for library duties please contact Sally Murphy on email volunteering@phcl.org or phone: 020 7419 6599. Also in the Library every Monday afternoon 2-4pm: Neighbourhood Information Centre give out information on a variety of services in the community as well as helping with a Befriending Scheme. This scheme has volunteers who are willing to spend an hour or two each week helping isolated elderly people. For more information on the Befriending Scheme ring Paul Fordham on 07531 779827.
