Private Sector Housing Assistance (Camden Council)

Grants, loans and other help for works of repair and improvement for landlords, home owners and private tenants. Eligible works include energy efficiency improvements, Eco grants (solar energy etc), security improvements, work to make the homes of people with disabilities accessible for them, work to bring empty properties back into residential occupation or to convert to residential use and for small-scale items of serious disrepair. In some cases applicants must be receiving an approved benefit, this does not apply to landlords, loans or Eco grants. Help in applying for the grant, arranging funding and managing the work can be arranged by Origin Home Improvement Agency for those who are aged over 60 or disabled.
