Third Age Project

(TAP)
Multi-cultural older people's project. Wide range of health support activities, educational, cultural and social events including homecrafts, sewing group, pottery, Bollywood music and singing group, karaoke club, drama, bingo, jewellery, line and country dancing, ESOL classes (entry levels) and Introduction to the internet computer classes. Health Club for 50+ people (includes gym, relaxation classes, aerobics, talks, health checks) with exercise classes for all abilities. Chair-based exercise classes, health talks, health walks through Regents Park, diabetes support group. Singalong group on Mon. Lunch club Thu at the Crypt Centre, users can also access the Time Bank community cafe at the H Pod on Tue and Fri. Regular events include tea dances, barbecues, coach trips, theatre trips. Men's activities programme. Monthly pampering events (including massage, pedicures, manicures and reflexology). User representative group. Volunteers welcome.
