Harmood Childrens Centre

Children's Centres in Camden provide services for children under five and their families. They are organised on a locality basis and provide a range of services including childcare and education, family support, outreach and home visiting, community based health services and advice on training, employability and benefits. 

This base provides early education and childcare places for children 2-5 years old. Also provides nursery care for 3-5 year olds 'wrapped around' their shorter nursery or pre-school education day and after-school club and holiday playscheme for 5-8 year olds.

Application and registration forms are available at the centre.

Warm Welcome space

Harmood Children’s Centre will be open as a warm welcome space on the following Saturdays between 9.30am and 12.30pm:

  • 1 April
  • 15 April
  • 29 April

On these days, Harmood Children Centre will offer a service for families with children under the age of 8 years.

The building will offer:

  • Stay and Play, Fun for All drop-in – up to 10 children (children under 5)
  • Community room warm space – up to 10 children, a room to sit and talk, complete homework (children under 8, please let us know if there is an older child)
  • A community lunch from 11.30am
