Short breaks are provided for families in Camden with children aged 0-18 who are severely disabled and have complex health needs. They are designed to give a much-needed break for the parent or carer, while also giving the children and young people a chance to take part in games, trips, sports and arts activities and develop new skills and experiences. A short break can be for a few hours a day or include overnight stays, depending on the child or young person’s level of need.
