Offer trained debt counsellors to work out a realistic budget that prioritises essential bills, and ongoing support for clients to work their way out of debt. Can negotiate affordable payments with creditors and stop unfair charges where possible. Also, advice on insolvency, help in completing forms and support at court appearances. Each client is offered a volunteer befriender to help them adjust to budgeting and paying in to their CAP account. Help anyone regardless of faith, religion, age, gender, race or sexual orientation. Clients are supported by CAP until they are debt free.
