Holborn Community Association Digital Media Projects

Our Digital Media Project offers children and young people opportunities to experiment with new technologies and digital art forms from animation, glitch art and illustration to film-making and sound installations.  We hold a weekly media arts club during term-time, run inspiring trips out, and deliver digital media activities in community settings, as well as partnering with local cultural institutions for an annual summer film project such as Somerset House, Sir John Soane’s Museum, Francis Crick Institute and Foundling Museum to improve young people’s digital arts skills and increase their confidence and aspiration.

Media Arts Club

These free weekly sessions are open to all young people aged 13 – 18 years old who want to take part in exciting, hands on media arts projects. It’s a chance for young people to learn new digital and creative skills and create their own work, supported by professional artists.

Trips out

We offer trips out for young people aged 7-18, taking place on weekends and holidays.

Summer film project

Taking place over 6 Saturdays leading up to the summer holidays, and two intensive shoot and edit weeks, participants will come up with a film idea, and work with filmmakers to develop all the digital and creative skills you need to collaboratively plan, shoot and edit your film ready for the big screen.
