NW5 Project

(Also known as NW5 Community Play Project and North West Five Project)

Registered independent charity (managed by local people) offering services for all ages of young people aged 0-21 years and their families. The Project's services include an after-school club for 4-13 year olds with collection services from 5 local schools;  and all day school holiday programmes for 4-13 year olds. During these playscheme days there is a breakfast club 8-10am followed by a full programme of on-site and off-site activities 10am-6pm. The charity also provides facilities for joint work with other organisations wishing to run activities benefiting young people and their families/carers. The playhut and playsite are used from time to time for various community events (such as local family fun days) and individual family special occasions (such as children's birthday parties).
